TOUR 2: Prato and the Textile Museum – Monday 10 July

Tour commences 10:00am in front of Emperors Castle in Prato. Commence two hour walking tour of the city, one of Italy’s main centres for textile production. Visit the historical centre including the cathedral, the Emperor Castle and the medieval places. Transfer to Poggio a Caiano to visit the Medicean Villa Ambra with lunch in a local restaurant.

On the return home you will stop at the new textile museum and on request one of the most important textile factories in the area. Return to the hotel by 6:30pm
