Launching a Scholarly Journal on the Internet
The paper describes the actual development of a scholarly journal -- the International Journal of Baudrillard Studies (On the Internet) from conception to successful launch on the world wide web. Issues to be discussed are: Moving from idea to reality, gaining acceptance, forming an editorial board, server access, funding, establishing the site, and sustainability issues.
The talk will be of interest to anyone who uses electronic journals or is thinking of founding one.
