Innovation and Change in Canadian Post-secondary Education: The Experience of the University of Guelph, Canada
This paper addresses change management issues at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, in establishing a joint venture with Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Toronto, Canada. The largest program at the new University of Guelph-Humber is in Business. At the same time as this new venture, however, the University of Guelph is restructuring its faculty of Management. This papers reports on what has been learned to date and invites an executive level dialogue on change management within public sector post secondary education.
